MyAvatars in Comments

You may be wondering what happened to the MyBlogLog Recent Visitors Widget. Well, I replaced it with the MyAvatars plugin. Unlike the MyBlogLog widget, MyAvatars displays your avatar only when you leave comments. Just make sure you use your URL and/or the e-mail address you have provided to MyBlogLog. View how the MyAvatars plugin looks.

So, don’t forget to leave lots of comments because for every comment you make, your avatar is displayed.

  1. I’ve once used this plugin and it is really cool. There’s also Gravatar plugin for comment too 🙂

  2. Ah yes, but what happens if you are using an alternative email address to filter the ever increasing MyBlogLog spam?

    Good point!
Originally, I thought the plugin was supposed to work without an e-mail address. Then again, I didn’t exactly read all of the documentation or comments made about the plugin on the author’s site. I kinda just expected it to work without testing it.

Your comment made me curious so I decided to try testing the plugin.

I am trying to post a test comment without being logged in. The only fields that I will be using are: Name, Website and Comment. If anyone else would like to help me test this out, please feel free to by leaving a comment without entering your e-mail address. You could also try entering your e-mail address without a website.

    I hope this works…
    …TEST!
