The Graff Lab in Los Angeles Koom the Ripper photoshoot Photos of Slant in Skope Magazine Buildings and Freeways in Orange County
The Graff Lab in Los Angeles This past weekend, I spent some time at The Graff Lab in Los Angeles with a couple friends, my camera and boxes full of paint. While they threw up their pieces, I worked on my tan and took photos of them throughout the process.
Koom the Ripper photoshoot This past weekend I had a photo shoot with my friend Koom the Ripper. I originally planned on going to 3 different locations that day to get different looks for his album, which is going to be coming out very soon, but it started to rain. Instead of going to the third location, we went to my garage at home where I set up a make-shift studio complete with blanket backdrop and a three-bulb house lamp for lighting.
Photos of Slant in Skope Magazine Recently, I went to Whisky a go go in Los Angeles to watch and take photos of Slant’s show. Now, this wasn’t the first time I was playing photog for the band, but I was a little nervous because I was told that I might get some of my photos put in a magazine.
Buildings and Freeways in Orange County Lately I’ve been going out early mornings to get new photos, so if you have noticed some random guy with a tripod and a big camera around Orange County, it just might be me. I still haven’t decided on what to title each of these photos and I am always open to new suggestions.
POTD – Terranea Resort

Terranea Resort, originally uploaded by JsonStone.

I haven’t been posting much to my blog lately so I finally decided to start doing a photo of the day. This one was actually chosen as the photo of the day yesterday on Discover Los Angeles under the heading “4/28/2010: LA’s Newest Resort”
It was my first time there and we just happen to get there in time for the sunset. This is the view that you see right after you get through the main entrance.

My somewhat new computer

It’s been a few months since I bought and built my new computer and since I haven’t had the chance to brag about it yet, I decided to take this moment to skip straight to complaining about how it still isn’t good enough. just kidding, i think.

Daybreak – Photograph of University Tower at Dawn

This photograph was taken pretty early in the morning before anyone got to the office. This is one of the first shots I took with my Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 Wide Angle Lens.
