At about 6:00am, the Orange County Fire Authority announced that they suspect arson after learning that this fire had three points of origin. Sounds like they really don’t know yet. How sure do you think they are?

Well, here is my theory…

As I was driving around last night (Sunday) trying to get photos of the fires out here in Orange County, I noticed streaks of light in the sky. Prior to leaving the house last night, I had read about some meteor shower activity happening this weekend but I thought it was for Saturday night.

Seeing this, made me wonder if the meteor shower and the outbreak of fires were somehow related. Does anyone know if it is possible for a meteor shower to cause a fire? If so, isn’t it also possible for a meteor to break into multiple pieces as it burns through our atmosphere; causing three fires to start at about the same time, in a place like Santiago Canyon? Could any of this be possible? I don’t know. What do you think? If you have any insight into anything I have just mentioned, please share!

The fires are very close to the apartments & condos where all of my brothers live. I think 1 of them is in a voluntary evacuation area. The other two will probably be asked to leave very soon.

Update: Fire got out of hand. One Brother located near Pioneer and Jamboree has evacuated. He was also forced to close his office in Irvine due to health conditions. I am waiting for the word from either of my 2 brothers who are located near Irvine Blvd and Jamboree to help them move stuff if needed.

I used to pride myself on having one of the fastest computers of its time. For you fellow geeks out there…I will tell you the stats of my computer in a second.

I used to always compete with a neighbor (actually 2 neighbors), about who had the faster computer. Of course, at the time, it really depended on who had the parent with more money. But we never thought of it that way. Honestly, we thought that we were competing 1 on 1 on 1 with each other where we all had an even slate. Of course, after a while, 1 of us so-called geeks fell out of the race. But we didn’t realize until years had passed that the only geeks that we were competing with, were ourselves. Anyways, back to the story…

I can imagine that most geeks had some sort of competition as they grew up. To us, it was sort of a superiority complex that we all had to get over. If you have yet to get over it, then I feel sorry for you and your lack of friends.
